Madden NFL 24 Reveals Super Bowl 58 Winner PredictionMadden NFL 24 Reveals Super Bowl 58 Winner Prediction

Ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated Super Bowl 58, EA Sports and Madden NFL 24 are sharing a prediction on who will take home the Lombardi Trophy.

With Super Bowl 58 right around the corner, Madden NFL 24 predicts that the annual NFL title game will be won by the Kansas City Chiefs in a close game against the San Francisco 49ers. While the Madden NFL Series has traditionally had a good track record of picking which team will win the coveted Lombardi Trophy, this year’s prediction in 2023 came after a rare wrong call.

EA Sports’ latest prediction comes just weeks after Madden NFL 24 released Title Update 7, which brought a live beta version of the franchise cross-play mode to the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game. Franchise mode allows Madden NFL players to take control of the league’s 32 teams and either rebuild them from the ground up or continue their dominance uninterrupted. Players are encouraged to start a new Franchise mod playfile to ensure the live beta runs without any issues. In addition to the franchise cross-play live beta, Madden NFL 24’s Ultimate Team mode enters its fourth season, and several bug fixes and stability improvements have been made across all platforms.

The Lombardi Trophy Will Remain in Kansas City, According to Madden NFL 24

While all Super Bowl 58 predictions are meant to be taken with a pinch of salt, EA Sports has kept up its annual tradition. On social media, Madden NFL 24 predicts that Super Bowl 58 will be won by the reigning NFL champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. The simulation predicted that the Chiefs would retain the Lombardi Trophy, defeating the San Francisco 49ers in a close game, with a final score of 30–28. Ahead of Super Bowl 57 in 2023, Madden NFL 23 predicted the Philadelphia Eagles would beat the Chiefs 31-17. Despite Madden NFL having a good track record of predicting Super Bowl outcomes, the 2023 call proved wrong, as the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in a back-and-forth battle.

After Super Bowl 57, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed that one of the offensive plays used by the Chiefs was inspired by the Pokemon series, and was intended to deceive Eagles defenders in short-yardage situations. Even though the play was a disaster, in the long term it helped to complicate the defensive strategies of the Eagles. Super Bowl 58, however, will be a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl 54, which Kansas City won 31–20.

Super Bowl 58 will begin on Sunday, February 11 at 6:30 PM Eastern. Between the prediction and the upcoming arrival of Madden NFL 24 on Xbox Game Pass on February 8, football fans will have plenty to sink their teeth into as the 2023 NFL season winds down.
