The most recent addition to the ever-growing Fortnite world is Solid Snake. Widespread Battle Royale is known for including skins featuring characters and icons from both gaming and pop culture. Currently, there’s a Fortnite and Family Guy crossover, just the latest in a long line of interesting collaborations. However, the latest update has finally introduced Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid franchise to Fortnite, along with some items and goodies fans will surely appreciate.

Fortnite Continues to Expand Gaming Icons Collection

Solid Snake is by now not the first icon from a video game to join Fortnite. Kratos, Aloy, Master Chief, and Lara Croft, just to name a few, are all beloved gaming characters that were featured last season. Fortnite isn’t just relying on Family Guy and Metal Gear Solid to entice players. Right now, fans can still get My Hero Academia skins in Fortnite through the Game Store.

Solid Snake can now be unlocked by players using the Big Bang Battle Pass thanks to the Fortnite update v28.10. With the update, Fortnite fans can now access the character as well as a number of quests needed to unlock various items, outfits, emotes, banner icons, and loading screens. A current Battle Pass is required to unlock Snake and its extras. The Big Bang Battle Pass for Chapter 5 – Season 1 can be purchased for 950 V-Bucks. The cost of 1,000 V-Bucks is $8.99 in the in-game store.

The latest Fortnite update includes two pages of Battle Pass Quests that can be completed to unlock Snake-centric accessories. Completing tasks like hiding in a cardboard box will unlock a new loading screen while knocking out entire pages will unlock new snake skins. Various questions will remain open until March 8, 2024, at 2 a.m. ET, which most certainly signifies the conclusion of this season.

In addition to the inclusion of Solid Snake, several updates have been implemented as well as a few new weekly Fortnite quests. Not to add, the group has patched various bug patches and balancing adjustments.

Peter Griffin is still included in the latest Battle Pass as well. Before he joined, the face of Family Guy had long been rumored to join Fortnite. Players need to reach level 70 to unlock the musclebound version of the adult animated comedy icon. Completing supplementary reward pages will also unlock elegant, gold-plated versions of the character.
