Unexpectedly, Lawrence Sullivan, also known as the Florida Joker, has given up suing Rockstar Games for allegedly copying his likeness in GTA VI.

Fans have been dying to see more ever since the first GTA VI trailer dropped in December last year, already theorizing what the second trailer might look like, as well as a possible 2025 release date. Trying to reduce.

However, while the trailer generated a lot of publicity, not everyone was happy, as Lawrence “Florida Joker” Sullivan immediately began threatening Rockstar Games if his likeness was used in the game. If lakhs are not paid, the case will be prosecuted in the court. GTA VI will reportedly be inspired by several true Florida events and memes, one of which is a mug shot of Sullivan that quickly gained internet fame for looking like DC supervillain, The Joker.

Sullivan continually threatened to sue Rockstar if he wasn’t paid, with the demand total increasing over time. He even threatened to bust the GTA VI hacker responsible for several leaks before the game’s trailer was even released.

He has since calmed down, and is now asking for a voice role in the game instead. Addressing his followers and Rockstar directly, he said, “Let’s do what’s right… Let me voice the character… Come on man… I’m the reason why the game is so popular right now.

As usual, his attempts to get the rock star’s attention got him nowhere, no matter how many empty threats or tree branches he passed.

GTA VI will launch for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 sometime next year. From the looks of things, PC players won’t be able to play the game on day one and will have to wait for the port instead.

An exact release date for the game has not been shared at the time of writing, but hopefully, it will be in the game’s next trailer.
